Accident Forgiveness Hypocricy

I’ve been seeing those ads on TV by a big auto insurance company about their “Accident Forgiveness” policy. They talk about how all the other insurance companies only want to replace “two-thirds” of your car’s value if you wreck a new car. They depict the other companies as so uncaring.

Funny thing though, they would do the exact same thing to you if you had their standard insurance policy. You only get accident forgiveness if you pay extra for it. That is in fact hypocritical.

This is why I love marketing. You can say things to convey practically anything you want to and not be outright lying.
